Can-You-See-Me Guy

Everyone has seen and sat next to this guy at a ball game. The guy who stands up in his seat yelling on his cell phone “I can see you, I can see you, can you see me” waiving his arms furiously like he has spotted an aircraft and is trying to get rescued from a deserted island, trying to show his seat location at the ball game to his buddy who is sitting in worse seats than him somewhere else in stadium filled with 40,000 plus people. Why? Why is it so important they spot you? Please just sit down and enjoy a nice bratwurst and the game.
